The questions people ask first
What is Looped In?
Looped In is an iPhone app for a shared calendar and to-do lists with your family, a team or any group. It turns the things you are handed, a flyer, a screenshot, a paste, a sentence said out loud, into the events, tasks and notes you were going to type in by hand. Each part of your life gets its own hub, called a Loop, and the built-in assistant, Cue, proposes while you confirm.
What counts as a capture?
One run at one thing you dropped in: a paste, a photo, a screenshot from your library, or something you said out loud. Cue reads it and shows you the events, tasks and notes it found. Without a subscription you can save three a day: a capture counts when you save it, and when Cue reads it online instead of on your phone, that read counts too, even if Cue finds nothing to add.
Is my data private with Cue?
Yes. Your saved Cue conversations and memory are stored in our cloud encrypted with a key kept in your iPhone's Keychain, which syncs through iCloud Keychain if you use it. To answer you, Cue does have to read your message, so it passes through our server to OpenAI as ordinary text. Only you can see your memory and your Cue conversations. You can view what Cue has learned, pause its learning, or delete its memory any time in Settings.
Is the first week free?
Yes. Every new account gets its first 7 days of Looped In Plus free, with no card needed. Everything in Plus is open that week, and nothing is charged when it ends. To keep Plus after that, you choose a subscription. Your Loops and everything in them stay either way.
What happens after the free trial?
The free trial is the App Store's, and Apple offers it to eligible new subscribers when they subscribe. When it ends, your Apple account is charged $5.99 for the month or $39.99 for the year (in the US; local prices are shown in the App Store), whichever you chose, and it renews until you turn it off. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you are not charged at all. The free first week every new account gets is separate: it needs no card, and nothing is charged when it ends.
Do the people I invite have to pay?
No. Anyone you invite uses the Loops you share with them free, there is no cap on how many, and they can view, add, edit and complete things there at no cost. They also get the same free start as anyone: a first Loop of their own and three Smart Captures a day. More Loops, more captures, asking Cue and the calendar switch are Looped In Plus, the same for them as for you.
Does one subscription cover my family?
Yes. Looped In Plus works with Apple Family Sharing, so one subscription covers everyone in your Apple Family at no extra cost. There is no separate family tier to work out.
Which iPhones does it work on?
Looped In is an iPhone app built for a recent version of iOS. The App Store page lists the exact requirement and tells you before you install.
Does Looped In work on Android or on the web?
No. Looped In is made for iPhone, and there is no Android app or web version. The people you invite join through Looped In on an iPhone too.
Is what Cue remembers encrypted?
Yes. AI memory is stored encrypted with a key kept in your iPhone's Keychain, which syncs through iCloud Keychain if you use it, and you can view, pause or delete it any time. The whole AI layer also has a master off switch in Settings.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple account, so you manage or cancel any time on your iPhone in Settings, under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancel a free trial at least 24 hours before it ends and you are not charged.

Getting started
What is a Loop?
A Loop is a hub for one real context: a rowing season, a robotics team, the neighbors on your street, your family. Each Loop holds its own events, tasks and notes, so one context's schedule never lands in the middle of another's list.
Is it free?
Using a Loop you are invited to is free: you see everything in it and add, change and finish its tasks, notes and events without paying, for as long as you are a member, and there are no ads on any plan. Your first Loop of your own is free too, and so is Smart Capture three times a day, saving included. More Loops, 50 Smart Captures a day, asking Cue and switching an event to your calendar are part of Looped In Plus, which is $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with 7 days free to start.
How do I create my first Loop?
Two ways. Drop something in on Home and Cue offers to make the Loop for you, with your first items already inside. Or go to the Loops screen, tap New Loop at the top, pick a Loop type and give it a name. Before you have a Loop, that screen offers Set up a Loop with Cue instead: say what you want to organize and Cue suggests the name and type. Looped In picks a color and icon for you automatically, and you can change either any time.
What does the bottom bar do?
There are three spots: Home, Calendar, and Loops, with the Cue bar along the bottom of the screen for dropping things in and asking questions.
Inside a Loop
What does a Loop hold?
Events, tasks and notes. Events can repeat, and when you edit or delete one you choose this event or all events, the way the calendar app you already use does it. Tasks carry an owner and a due date. Notes hold everything that is neither.
How do I invite members?
Open the Loop, choose Invite People from its menu, and send the link or read out the code. They use the Loops you share with them free, and there is no limit on how many people you add.
I deleted something. Can I get it back?
Yes. Nothing is gone the instant you tap delete. A deleted Loop goes to Recently Deleted in Settings, and you can restore it yourself for 30 days. Anything else you delete, like a task or an event, is kept for 30 days too, and support can bring it back.
Smart Capture
What is Smart Capture?
Smart Capture is the part most people try first: drop something in and it comes back sorted. Cue reads a flyer, a screenshot, a paste or something you said out loud, pulls out the events, tasks and notes it found, and shows them to you already filled in.
What can I capture from?
Four ways in: paste text, take a photo, pick a photo from your library, or speak it. Speech is transcribed on your device and the audio never leaves your phone.
What if it gets something wrong?
Looped In shows you what it found, and you can change any of it before you confirm. Nothing is saved to a Loop until you say so, and after you save, an Undo button stays on screen for sixty seconds and takes out everything the capture added.
Does it cost me anything? Are there limits?
Smart Capture is free three times a day: Cue reads what you drop in, and you save what it finds into a Loop. On Looped In Plus, which every new account gets free for its first 7 days, you get 50 Smart Captures a day. Both caps reset daily.
Siri and the share sheet
Does Looped In work with Siri?
Yes. Say "Looped In add a task", "Looped In add an event" or "Looped In add a note", and tell Siri what it is and which Loop it goes in. It shows up in that Loop the next time you open Looped In, with or without Plus. Say "Save to Looped In" and Looped In picks the Loop for you; without Plus, that kind of capture is one of the three Smart Captures you can save each day. You can also ask "What's on my Looped In schedule" to hear what is on today. Siri works with Looped In on every iPhone the app runs on.
Can I add things from the share sheet?
Yes. In another app, tap Share and choose Looped In to send it text, a web link or a photo. Text in a photo is read on your phone. Choose what it is and which Loop it goes in, then tap Save. It shows up in that Loop the next time you open Looped In, with or without Plus.
Can Siri set a Looped In alarm?
Yes. Say "Set a Looped In alarm" and tell Siri what it is for and when. Once you have allowed alarms for Looped In, the alarm is set the moment you ask, even if you do not open the app. On iOS 26.1 or later it rings at full volume, even when your phone is on silent. On earlier versions of iOS it plays loudly, but silent mode can mute it. If you have not allowed alarms yet, Looped In asks the next time you open it, then sets the alarm. It works with or without Plus.
Cue and AI
What is Cue?
Cue is the assistant inside Looped In. It sits in a bar at the bottom of the screen: drop something into it and it captures, ask it a question and it answers about the Loop you are looking at. Cue proposes and you confirm, so nothing is created, changed or removed without your tap.
Are there daily limits on Cue?
Asking Cue is part of Looped In Plus, which every new account gets free for its first 7 days. On Looped In Plus you get 100 Cue chats a day, and the count resets each day. Sharing and collaboration are never limited on any plan.
Can I turn AI off completely?
Yes. Settings has one master AI switch, and smaller switches under it for each piece. Turn the master switch off and nothing in the app talks to an AI. What is left is a plain shared organizer you fill in yourself.
Calendar
How do I add an event to my iPhone calendar?
When Cue shows you an event it found, the card carries a switch that says add it to your calendar. Flip it and the event is in the calendar you already check, alongside everything else in your day.
How do recurring events work?
You can create recurring events, and when you edit or delete one, Looped In asks whether you mean this event or all events, just like the calendar app you are used to. So you can change a single occurrence without disturbing the whole series.
Does it work with Google Calendar?
Yes. Connect Google Calendar in Settings, under Connected Accounts, and the events you add to a calendar from Looped In can go straight to Google Calendar, each in its own color. Settings, under Calendar Sync, is where you choose Google Calendar or your iPhone calendar. Adding events to a calendar is part of Looped In Plus. Gmail import is paused for now.
Privacy and your data
Can I export my data?
Yes. Settings includes Export My Data, so you can take a copy of your information with you.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Delete Account, type DELETE, and confirm. It runs inside the app, with no support ticket and no email to us. When you do, we immediately erase your login, profile, settings, AI memory and Cue conversations, and we tell Apple and Google to end Looped In's access if you used them to sign in or connected them. Loops that only you belong to are kept for 30 days in case you change your mind, then erased. What you added to Loops shared with other people stays there for them, with your name removed. Backup copies are kept 90 days, then erased, and we keep purchase and security records for 3 years. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
Is Looped In safe for kids?
Looped In is for ages 13 and up, with an age gate at sign up. It is designed to be family friendly: there is no place for medical data, and the focus is on coordinating everyday life.
Can I lock the app?
Yes. Settings has a Face ID lock for the app, and Face ID is processed entirely on your device by Apple and never reaches our servers.
Billing
What is free, and what is in Looped In Plus?
Free for every account: your first Loop of your own, Smart Capture three times a day with saving included, and every Loop you are invited to, where you see everything and add, change and finish its tasks, notes and events without paying. Looped In Plus adds as many Loops as you like, 50 Smart Captures a day, asking Cue and switching an event to a calendar, the same for the people you invite as for you. It is $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with 7 days free to start, and one subscription covers your whole Apple Family through Family Sharing.
I have an offer code. How do I use it?
Open the App Store, tap your photo at the top right, choose Redeem Gift Card or Code, and enter it. The discount applies to your Looped In Plus subscription after any free trial you are eligible for.
Is collaboration ever behind a paywall?
Joining a Loop you are invited to, inviting members, and working together are free: anyone you invite can view, add, edit and complete things in your Loop at no cost. Everyone's first Loop of their own and three Smart Captures a day are free as well; Cue, more Loops, more captures and exporting to a calendar are part of Looped In Plus, for them and for you. And there are no ads on any plan.
Troubleshooting
I did not get a notification.
First, check Settings inside Looped In and make sure notifications are on and that you are not inside quiet hours. Then check your iPhone's Settings, then Notifications, to confirm Looped In is allowed to send them. If a specific Loop is muted, you will not get its alerts.
I am having trouble signing in.
Looped In supports email and password, Sign in with Apple, and Google. Make sure you are using the same method you signed up with. If you use Apple or Google, confirm you are signed into the right account on your device.
Something looks out of date or did not sync.
Looped In syncs in real time, but a slow or offline connection can delay it. Check your connection, and if something still looks stale after reconnecting, reopening the app will pull the latest.
